Ingredients
1 (9-inch) gluten-free graham cracker pie crust
3 standard-size milk chocolate bars (4.3 ounces total), broken into pieces
1 cup marshmallows, or enough to cover the chocolate layer
1 (7.9-ounce) container marshmallow creme or marshmallow fluff
1 (8-ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
Preparation
Prepare the Gluten-Free S’mores Pie
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Place the gluten-free graham cracker crust on a baking sheet for easy handling.
Arrange the broken chocolate bars in an even layer across the bottom of the crust.
Sprinkle the marshmallows evenly over the chocolate.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the chocolate is completely melted and the marshmallows are soft and puffy.
Remove the pie from the oven and allow it to cool slightly.
Make the Marshmallow Filling
In a medium bowl, gently fold together the marshmallow creme and thawed whipped topping until smooth and fully combined.
Spread the marshmallow mixture evenly over the warm chocolate and marshmallow layer.
Toast the Marshmallow Topping
Using a kitchen torch, carefully toast the topping until golden brown and lightly caramelized.
Alternatively, place the pie under the broiler for 30 seconds to 1 minute, watching closely to avoid burning.
Chill Before Serving
Refrigerate the pie for at least 30 minutes to allow the layers to set.
Slice and serve chilled for the best texture and flavor.
Notes
This easy gluten-free dessert can be prepared several hours in advance and stored in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
For a richer flavor, substitute dark chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate for the milk chocolate bars.
A kitchen torch creates the most authentic toasted marshmallow appearance and flavor.
Top with crushed gluten-free graham crackers for added texture and a classic s’mores finish.
Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
